ANNOUNCEMENT

Regarding: the death penalty for unauthorized leave of the Jewish housing district

Recently, the Jews who have left the designated housing district have spread typhoid, proven in many cases. In order to prevent the spread of the illness, the Governor General has decreed that in the future any Jew who leaves the housing district unauthorized will be punished by death.

A person consciously hiding Jews or helping them in any other way (e.g. by giving them shelter, providing for them, taking them on any sort of vehicle) will also be subject to the death penalty. The sentencing will be conducted by a special court in Warsaw.

I am emphasizing the importance of this new regulation to the entire population of the District of Warsaw, because it will be enforced with merciless severity.
